Good News Everyone!

HOLLY GOT HER JOB! *applause*

They finally called her yesterday and let her know that they wanted to hire her. She and I are both excited for the new job and she thinks that she will really enjoy the work. We’ve decided that we are going to go ahead and move to KC now and I will just commute to maryville 3 days a week.

That was the good news. The great news is that she will be able to keep doing her current work at home! They’re getting everything set up so she can work at home and still access all the servers & billing/payroll info.

The best news? We’ll be in KC! … and have fast internet! Now holly and I will never need to fight for the (tiny!) bandwidth again!

I'm Back, Baby!

Well, now that most of my classes are over, I guess that it is time to start writing again.

A couple days ago, Holly and I decided to get ourselves a new 2009 Kia Optima and I must say, I love this  car. Wordpress is being stupid so pics are up at my flickr page.

Almost Over...

Wow. The last few weeks have been crazy. As I hope you can tell, I have not had time to make any updates to the blog for quite a while now. Now that the semester is almost over, I should be finding myself with more free time to ride, write and play. Come back soon and I'll have a review of the latest Ubuntu 9.04 Remix on an Eee PC.

Wow, yesterday was insane. Usually I only get 2 or 3 drivers doing stupid things around me each week, but yesterday I had 3 in the same day! Oh well, too bad there is no way to rid the world of stupid behavior but it sure would be nice. It would make me feel a whole lot safer if people would just give me room when they passed & not pass right in front of a stop sign. Now it's time to warm up!

WOW! My new bike is RED! lol... Finally got a chance to pick up my new bike on Saturday and I must say, it is a beautiful bike![gallery link="file"]
